Hostel Daze 3 Review: The gang of hostel is back to entertain you.
What’s Good: The writing is excellent, and most of the jokes are funny. The show benefits from the episode structure since it focuses on various themes and subjects each time. Because there is no continuous plot, Hostel Daze season 3 feels more like a collegiate sitcom.
It also does an excellent job of highlighting modern hostel concerns like as money loans, rivalries, politics, robberies, self-image difficulties, and parental pressure. The story even achieves a perfect blend of comedic and emotional passages, which the performers bear on their competent shoulders.
What’s Bad: The show's female characters are underused. Channa is reduced to a simple love interest, while Gupta is reduced to the group's obligatory female companion. The latter includes a pertinent plotline concerning body concerns and male friendships, but it quickly fades away. In terms of gags, the programme still struggles to know where to draw the line. It might be unpleasant and brash at times, but the benefits outweigh the drawbacks.
Watch or Not: Yes, you should definitely watch this series if you are a college guy.

Hostel Daze 3 Review: Story
These six engineering hostilities, played by Ahsaas Channa, Luv Vispute, Shubham Gaur, Jatin Kishore aka Jhantoo, Ayushi Gupta, and Ankit aka Dopa (Utsav Sarkar), are all dealing with "hostel's mid-life crises" in their third year of college. The previous two seasons focused on their antics. This third season goes deeper into their lives. Their relationship gets stronger as a result of the lessons they learn and the growth they undergo.
Hostel Daze 3 Review
The dynamics of the dormitory have changed as our crew begins the third year of their engineering student lives in season three of the programme. One difference is that Utsav Sarkar, who previously played the part of Ankit in the first two seasons, has taken over from Adarsh. The very Crown-like way the episode presented Utsav as Ankit drew me over in the opening scene. The meta scenario is entertaining and deserving of praise. The programme has a tonne of meta, almost-breaking-the-fourth-wall moments that are deserving of praise. The majority of them will likely only show up on a second watch.
Hostel Daze 3 Review: The gang of hostel is back to entertain you.
Writing is the show's main strength. No joke is a dud. The one-liners are wittier than anything currently available on the Indian web, and the pop culture allusions are delightful. Everything, from Sidhu Moose Wala to Shark Tank, has a place in the narrative and is done so in a really intelligent way. Although it begins that way, there is more to it than just stupid laughing. The weakest episode of the season is the first one, in part because it sets the stage for the others. Therefore, it moves more slowly and absurdly than the others. But soon it also becomes endearing.
The show's deft handling of peer pressure, body image concerns, romantic relationships in college, and breakups deserves praise. The subject is always handled with maturity, never at the expense of humour. Although it is all in good fun, there are also some tragic moments. The episodes' seriousness and profundity must be provided by the guest stars who serve as their narrators. Sugandha Mishra, an alumnus, and the late Raju Shrivastava, a campus tea vendor, were the two who stuck out to me. Perhaps it is only fair that Raju stars in the episode about farewell and offers a part-touching, part-funny speech on goodbyes in his final postmortem television appearance.
Hostel Daze 3 Review: The Last Word
The third season of Hostel Daze is a respectable addition to the series that portrays college life honestly. Your need for additional episodes will be satiated by its humour and sincerity.
