Code Name: Tiranga Movie Review: There is hardly a single thrilling scene in Parineeti Chopra's spy thriller.

These kinda films work majorly on brain & brawn, both of them are nowhere to be found in this one.

What’s Good: You can only go through Code Name Tiranga by oscillating between boredom and incredulity. First, though, a query. Can you believe Parineeti Chopra is the type of deadly Indian spy who can take on a group of armed terrorists, including their lethal leader, on her own? like on your own? This movie is for you if that is the case.

What’s Bad in the Movie: Entire Movie

Bathroom Break: Pick any scene and go to use the restroom. When you return, you will still be ahead of what is happening in the movie.

Watch or Not?: It is not necessary to watch the movie. If you watch movie just for entertainment and you don't judge the movie so you can watch the movie.

Language: Hindi

Available on: Now Movie is only available in Theatres (Thankfully!) but soon Movie will be available in OTT Platform.

Runtime: The Movie is 137 minutes. The Duration for this Extra for Movie. Movie Could be Short Enoughby cutting some extra Scenes.

User Rating:

A regular narrative by Ribhu Dasgupta fails to fully include or captivate the reader. His script follows a well-worn course. As a result, the drama turns predictable and extremely dull. A few plot details in the drama are disclosed a long time after they are first mentioned, annoying the audience. The late discoveries would not have angered the viewers if the drama had been compelling, but because the writing is clichéd, such suspense aspects don't sit well with them. Overall, Code Name Tiranga is a complete and total dud.

Code Name: Tiranga Movie Review: Script Analysis

Although Ribhu Dasgupta's idea is amazing and unquestionably would have been a wonderful one-line presentation, problems arise when you start adding items to it. This movie features terrorists who use their own photos as phone wallpaper, a Call of Duty-style climax that was handled much better in Force 2's climax, reaching the main antagonist while blindfolded simply because you were in the same situation when you first met him, and many other things that reveal how little research was done before this was decided.

Speaking of "no homework," isn't it ironic that you are creating a tale about the nation's sharpest "Research and Analysis Wing (RAW)" while conducting no research for the same? These movies rely heavily on brains and muscle, yet none of those traits can be found in this one. The cinematography of Tribhuvan Babu Sadineni works really hard to at least keep one section out of the turmoil, and he succeeds in doing so. In the end, the camera work is seamless aside from the COD fiasco, but Parineeti's face is very conveniently hidden by something or other (a burqa, a face-covering mask) to allow the body doubles to perform their duties.

Editor Sangeeth Prakash Varghese had a lot to fit within 137 minutes, thus it felt more like 180–190 minutes and there was a constant desire to see the "The End" board.

Code Name: Tiranga Movie Review: Star Performance

Parineeti Chopra hams in some situations like there's no tomorrow, and she is widely recognised as having the worst "smoking face" in Bollywood. Other significant facets of her personality are killed by her incessant urge to seem and feel "cool." I used to think that I was the only one with a terrible love story until I saw this movie, but you have to see what Parineeti's Ismat & Harrdy Sandhu's Mirxa are getting up to.

Sharad Kelkar's shallow and befuddled opponent prevents him from acting to his full potential. I'm disappointed with Harrdy Sandhu since he had every opportunity to sing "Saari umar main joker jeha banya reha, tere piche eh zindgi circus ho gayi," but he chose not to. Sandhu has shown he is better than this after making a good debut in 83. Rajit Kapur and Dibyendu Bhattacharya are two more talented actors whose roles were ruined by a weak plot.

Code Name: Tiranga Movie Review: Direction, Music

The Girl On The Train by Ribhu Dasgupta is back with this, giving the Netflix movie the appearance that it might win an Oscar. The concept borrows elements from films like Baby, Ek Tha Tiger, Naam Shabana, Tiger Zinda Hai, and others, but it falls well short of those films in terms of how well the plot is carried out.

The background music by Gilad Benamram doesn't really blend in with the action well enough to stand out. Ordinary.

Code Name: Tiranga Movie Review: The Last Word

Code Name: Tiranga, starring Parineeti Chopra, is one of those movies that you watch and keep to yourself.

I'd like to give the creators three stars for watching this, totaling five stars.
