Adipurush VS Pathaan: Shah Rukh Khan is Best, but the visual effects are as bad as Adipurush.

We may anticipate that Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan trailer would follow the same format as its teaser, with quick cuts to obscure any flaws (even if they are obvious).

Since Adipurush's trailer made everyone unwittingly squirm due to the visuals, the "VFX" topic is picking up speed among the various fan groups, and one such conversation is centered upon Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan. People didn't comment as much about the quality of the visuals in movies like Tiger Zinda Hai and War.

The arguments and conversations used to center on how gorgeous a movie would look, but today we speak about how the visuals are altering how movies appear. Although Prabhas' Adipurush may have set the bar for this, going forward, every movie will face increased scrutiny and criticism for its use of visual effects.

How is the Pathaan teaser so wonderfully presented? Have you noticed how the teaser's pacing, particularly in the action scenes, changes from 1x to 1.5x? The video is 1 minutes 25 Second long and lasts for exactly 30 seconds in length. To increase visual appeal, many movies speed up the action sequences to give the impression that everything is wonderful and lovely.

Because once you enter a theatre to view this, you won't have the remote to pause the film and point out the visual effects that aren't quite right. The scenario would have continued while your eye was processing the error and providing your brain new information that may have been well-polished.

Why then can't we say the same thing about every other movie? For instance, Adipurush by Prabhas. After viewing the teaser for Pathaan, watch the teaser for Adipurush to observe how it accomplishes the exact reverse of what Pathaan did by giving you the impression that the video is being played at 0.75x speed. Everything moves extremely slowly, which highlights how poorly the VFX were done. It doesn't succeed in creating the same illusion as Pathaan provides, thus everything is just plain obvious.

In Adipurush's teaser, everything is in slow motion, including the stroll and dragon flight, including introduction scenes of Ravana (Saif Ali khan) and also some scenes of Vanaras (Monkeys) and Danavas.

According to the pattern, we can anticipate that Shah Rukh Khan's Pathaan's trailer will follow a similar format to its teaser by moving so quickly that any flaws (even if they are obvious) won't be noticed. What do you believe? Leave a remark below and share.

How is Physics in Movie

Pathaan immediately strikes the viewer as a generic action movie in the vein of Race 3, Heropanti, Tiger Zinda Hai, War, Saaho, and an unending list of other mainstream action Bollywood movies. They are all background noise as the protagonist beats up the villains, acting as a vigilante and breaking the law (both civic laws and the laws of Physics). There is nothing special or distinctive about any action movie that makes it stand out from the rest. At this point, every explosion, every helicopter landing, and every car turning upside down look to be recycled versions of action scenes that we have already seen several times.

The cliches and automobile explosions that distinguish a masala action potboiler from Pathaan are also present in the film. Will people see it in theatres? Certainly. Fans of SRK would for sure. It is difficult not to support Khan given the witch hunt he and his family have endured over the past few years. Since Shah Rukh Khan is the GOAT, the King of Bollywood, and the King of Romance, it is difficult to not support him, which is precisely why the Pathaan trailer left many of his admirers with a bitter aftertaste.

The producers could get in touch with Ayan Mukerji and request his assistance with VFX. Even SRK fans should keep their expectations realistic when it comes to the action scenes.

Let's hope Pathaan serves as Shah Rukh Khan's needed return.
