Pinocchio Movie Review: Script Evaluation
The animated Pinocchio, which was debuted in 1994, was a true trailblazer. among the best ever, not just the best that year. Disney was the company that made the risky decision after Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs (1937). Tom Hanks should consequently refrain from taking part in the live-action portrayal of a cult because the stakes are too high. Is the iteration from 2022 up to the hype?
The world of Pinocchio has grown and become even more compelling, but the writing seems to have lost sight of its original goal.
He sought a relationship. The most recent version has added words, which somewhat dilutes the product because the 1994 version never did. Up until Pinocchio is born to life, everything is exactly as it was, save for the Blue Fairy, who is now played by Cynthia Erivo and marks such a huge improvement in depiction.
The narrative that follows is intended to illustrate a journey toward self-discovery and a knowledge of what it is to be "real." On the screen, it appears to be a montage of fragmented, highly animated scenes rather than a continuous live action sequence. The live-action version should have had more genuine feelings and soul, but instead, it goes completely in the other direction and never tries to come back.
