When you want to watch some wonderful Hindi comedy, movies like Hera Pheri, its follow-up Hera Pheri 2, Welcome, Awara Paagal Deewana, and more are like comfort food. Additionally, they all have Akshay Kumar in common. While earlier rumours indicated that Akki (Akshay Kumar) was in discussions to bring back the Hera Pheri 3, Welcome 3, and Awara Paagal Deewana 2 comedy franchises, current indications indicate that nothing to that effect is likely to occur.
For those who are unaware, in the past 2 weeks, there have been rumours that producer Firoz Nadiadwala has visited Kumar's office several times to talk about the potential for restarting the aforementioned three comedy series. According to recent sources, the discussions broke down because Khiladi Akshay Kumar was not convinced of the value and scope of the sequel proposals.
According to a source who was aware of the situation, movies like "Hera Pheri, Welcome, and Awara Pagal Deewana are 3 of the most beloved franchises lead by Akshay Kumar, and he was extremely enthusiastic to return the famous flicks," as reported by Pink Villa. After many discussions, he has chosen to back out since he couldn't agree with the premise of the wide screenplay.
Kartik will appear in Hera Pheri 3, the actor Paresh Rawal confirmed on Twitter. "@Sir Paresh Rawal sir, is it true that Kartik Aaryan is doing Hera Pheri 3?" a fan tweeted, tagging Paresh Rawal. Paresh responded by tweeting, "Yes, it's real." One user responded to this news by writing, "No Akshay, No Hera Pheri." The second guy said, "This news is more distressing than news of losing the World Cup," adding, "Ye Toh T20 world cup mai haar se Bhi zyada Dukh bhari news Hai." "We want all three (Akshay, Suniel, and Paresh) in the movie, no one can fathom Hera Pheri 3 without Akshay," a third individual User commented.

The cause? "Akshay Kumar is very well aware of his fans' expectations for him in these comedic franchises," the insider continues. Since previous attempts to adapt these sequels without careful consideration and with other performers had failed, he would not compromise the quality of the screenplays. For those who are unaware, Hera Pheri 3 included Abhishek Bachchan, John Abraham, Suniel Shetty, and Paresh Rawal when it was first announced. The movie started filming, but it got stuck in the middle for a variety of reasons. The 2015 film Welcome Back, starring John Abraham, aimed to be a sequel to Welcome, however it fell well short of the original.
The insider went on to say, "Akshay Kumar already has a full schedule and is picking his scripts for the future very carefully. Instead of trying to capitalize on the success of previous series with shoddy writing, he can choose to make a brand-new comedy. After then, a source connected to Firoz Nadiadwala's production company claimed that the director is now in contact with additional actors about joining the cast of the movies. He is already filming it with a young actor, and discussions are ongoing with a number of filmmakers in an effort to move the series ahead, the insider claimed.
Following the commercial success of Bhool Bhulaiyaa 2, Kartik Aaryan will next be seen in Freddy, which will premiere on Disney+ Hotstar on December 2. He is now working on Satya Prem Ki Katha with Kiara Advani and Shehzada with Kriti Sanon. His future project is Aashiqui 3 as well. The film's creators have not yet revealed who actor would play his opposite in Aashiqui 3.
