However, there have been several rumors that the film's director, Patty Jenkins, left the production because of a disagreement over some modifications to the screenplay. Patty Jenkins released a message on her Twitter account following the online rumor that the movie's director had quit the project. You can interpret it as "Sigh... I don't want to talk about people's personal careers, but I won't stand by while errors persist. These are the details.

"The enticing clickbait fake tale that it was I who killed it or went away started to circulate when there started to be anger over WW3 not happening. Simply said, this is untrue. I never left the room. I was willing to do everything that was requested of me. I believed that at this point, there was nothing I could do to make progress. I realize these choices are challenging at this time since DC is plainly swamped with changes that must be made, Patty Jenkins wrote in her statement.
Patty said, "I don't want the wonderful ride we've had with WW to end on a bad one. It has been an absolute pleasure and an honor for me to have contributed to the previous two Wonder Woman movies. She has a remarkable personality. One becomes a better person every day by adhering to her principles. With or without me, I wish her and her legacy a fantastic future.
I am at a loss for words to describe how amazing she is. She is a finer person than the world can conceive and the living embodiment of Wonder Woman. In all the countless hours I have spent with her, I have never once noticed anything less.
